So what the hell do I do now?
Ok, so I've accomplished everything I wanted to this summer on a personal level. Where do I go from here? Everything is just too much work, but I'm bored if I don't do something.
Oh, the dilemma of the lazy-assed.
Any ideas?

I guess you should visit my blog. It's hard for me to think of what else could really make the rest of your summer worthwhile. That might just be me, but it's my opinion, and this is a democracy, well, theoretically, and I'm entitled to that much; plus I even know how to use semicolons properly.

well, officially i have to recommend travel (wanna meet me in latvia this august?) but when all else fails, there's always video games

Have you considered naked sky diving?
Apparently it is very fulfilling, on a personal level.

Garfy, I would terrify the shite out of any poor sod on the ground.
Noz - Latvia, you say? That's a tad safer than your usual vacation destinations. Getting soft in your old age?
Darius - um, sure. Thanks. If you knew me at all...

actually, i disagree. syria was probably the safest place i have ever been. the place has virtually no crime. i went for a walk through a poor area of damascus at 2:00 am one night alone, women and children were still wandering around. people look at you funny when you ask about safety like you're trying to imply that syria is a war zone like iraq. honestly, so long as you're not rocking any political boats, a police state where there are agents everywhere is probably the safest place you can ever be. hell, i even hitchhiked around the country. i would never do that here.
besides i was either followed by the secret police everywhere i went, or i wasn't and everyone thought i was. either way, no one would mess with me even if they wanted to. the syrian government wants the few tourists they get to have a good time.
as for this year's destination, it's mrs. noz's turn to pick. we alternate years so she picked the baltics (lithuania, latvia and estonia). last year was my pick (syria/lebanon). the year before that we went to canada. the year before that, uzbekistan. the year before that, italy, the year before that, mali in west africa. do you see a pattern?

I have the feeling I'd rather travel with Mrs. Noz. I'm a fan of the classics.

Well, seeing as travel has already been suggested, I can offer a spot to stay in Charleston as always. :-) And since I'm teaching summer school, you'd have one-on-one time with your boyfriend until noon every day at which point we could go "play" at the beach or the mall.
Of course if travel isn't an option, you could pick up a new language. One of my favorite new websites is http://www.spoonfulofrussian.com which has really awesome podcasts to teach Russian. (Podcasts in general are just wayyyyy cool). And then there's YouTube. Don't get me started!
